Experience Deep Rest
Reveal the calm core of your being
So much of our suffering comes from the belief that there is something wrong with us and that we must do something to make ourselves better - to fix or improve ourselves somehow. We might embark on any number of self-improvement ventures, or set about ways to heal our faults, or seek spiritual or philosophical guidance, all the while missing one key possibility: that at the deepest level, we are not suffering in any way.
Yoga, meditation and mindfulness practices share a common goal: to reveal that which remains when everything else is gone. They help you to see beyond the stories, memories, sensations, interpretations, and assumptions of your day-to-day experience.
Here, you will discover techniques born out of these practices and founded on modern-day research and neuroscience. The ultimate aim of all of the courses, classes and teachings on offer is to reveal consciousness. When you connect with this, it feels like coming home.
You feel accepted, without conditions, and you are accepting of all that is. Whatever you’re going through, whoever you are, you recognise that above, beyond and behind it all, you are steady and whole. It’s like discovering a superpower.
We start from the premise that you already have everything you need within you, right now, to be the better version of yourself you might think you somehow need to grow into or create in the future.
You’re already there.

“Just wanted to drop a quick line to let you know I’m very much enjoying the weekly gatherings. It’s refreshed my practice, and it feels good to be part of a community. The Tuesday evenings have already become an anchor point in my week.”

Opposites and how to get unstuck: guided Yoga Nidra and talk
Do you get stuck with particular worries and convictions? Learn how to flip thoughts, feelings and emotions on their head to get unstuck from our certainties and troubling experiences:
• The brain and opposites: understand the fluid and malleable aspects of our brains and how we can rewire ourselves to see ourselves and life differently.
• Turn It around: The roots of this idea and practice were written about thousands of years ago, but they are just as relevant today in our modern times of certainty and divisive beliefs.
• Thinking and feeling: discover that you can deeply change your mind when you include your feelings too.
• Equanimity: experience mental balance that comes from putting yourself in an ‘either/or’ position. Break free, into a deeper rested stillness.
